This notice explains how I handle information you share through my newsletter signup, podcast guest application, and speaking inquiry forms. I publish the newsletter independently of Transnova.ai.
Information collected
For the newsletter, the form requests your work email address and optionally your first name. The signup process also handles subscription and confirmation status, and may collect technical information necessary to operate and protect the form. For podcast and speaking inquiries, the forms request professional contact details and the information you enter about your experience, organization, or event.
How information is used
- To review newsletter signup requests, verify eligibility and email confirmation, manage subscriptions, and send the newsletter to confirmed subscribers.
- To review and respond to podcast guest applications and speaking inquiries.
- To maintain service reliability, detect automated or abusive submissions, and troubleshoot errors.
I may use publicly available business information associated with subscribers’ work email domains to understand the professional audience of the newsletter, such as estimated company size, industry and geographic distribution. I may share aggregated, non-identifying audience statistics with prospective sponsors and partners. I do not share individual subscriber email addresses or identifiable subscriber profiles with sponsors.
Submitting a podcast or speaking inquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to the newsletter.
Newsletter choice and unsubscribe
Newsletter signup uses an email confirmation step. You can choose not to confirm, and you can unsubscribe from newsletter emails using their unsubscribe link. Requests concerning your subscriber information can also be sent to the contact address below.
Service providers
This site uses Wix for website hosting and inquiry forms, Microsoft Azure for email validation and submission processing, and beehiiv for newsletter subscriber management and delivery. These providers process information as needed to deliver their respective services and may process or store data outside Canada.
Retention and requests
Information may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to operate the newsletter, respond to inquiries, maintain applicable records, or meet legal obligations. If you want to access, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted, please contact us. Requests will be assessed subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
